Read this article for an explanation of cellular automata.
Use the buttons in the bottom left to select when cells will be born, survive or die, based on how many of their neighbors are alive. Use the buttons in the bottom right to control the generator.
You can also change cells individually by clicking or dragging over the cells with the mouse.
